Checking Out Soon

July 1, 2009 | 7 Comments

From Ashli’s brother Shane tonight:

Hello All,
My eyes are tearing as I write this email – not because it is my last email (Ashli is going to take over doing her updates) – but because your prayers for her bowels to wake up have been answered.  :)
It has been another good day.  The surgical drain has been removed.  The only tube remaining is an IV line.  So far Ashli has been doing well with her clear liquid diet and walking up a storm.  I expect she will be getting out of here soon.
I’ve given Ashli the password to this email account.  Feel free to keep the emails coming.
Thank you everyone for your prayers and support,

You opened it, Good luck. Tonight at midnight your true love will realize they love you. Somethi
ng good will happen to you at 1:00 PM – 4:40 PM tomorrow, it could be anywhere.
Tonight at midnight they will remember how much they loved you as well. You will get the shock of your life tomorrow, a good one. Get ready for the shock of your life, a good one. If you break the chain you will be cursed with relationship problems for the next 2 years. Karma. If there is someone you once loved (or still do) and can’t get them out of your mind, repost this in another city within the next five minutes. Its amazing how it works!
It is sad when people you know, become people you knew….
It is one of life’s tragedies when you meet someone that you know is meant to be but due to unexpected circumstances and misunderstandings becomes someone you knew.
And when you can walk right past someone that at one time in your life was a big part of your life…
And how you used to be able to talk to them for hours about the little nothings in life…
And now you can barely look at them and they at you…
And all you have left is that aching feeling in your soul…
If you really miss someone a past love and can’t seem to get them off your mind…then re post this titled as “I Truly Do Miss You.”
Whomever you are missing will surprise you.
Don’t break this, for tonight at midnight, your true love will realize they love you.
And…something great will happen to you tomorrow.
Karma: If there is someone you loved or still do and can’t get them out of your mind, re-post this in another city.
Tonight they will remember how they love you as well.
You will get the shock of your life tomorrow

I am glad that your sister is doing well! However, why do you assume it was prayer that caused her to get well? More than likely it was the skilled doctors and nurses and specialists who have spent their lives in training and medical practice that made your sister well! Maybe sending a Thank You to those people would be a more generous thing to do rather than thanking a non existent deity.
