Th-th-that’s All, Folks!

What can you say about a 79 year old atheist who died? Just let him do all the talking:

whitenack2

Time Magazine reported some additional beyond-the-grave commentary from Mr.
Whitenack, who died in 1949. One would imagine he saved some choice words for
his tombstone, although they’re not available from Find-A-Grave. If you’re in the Denver area, you now know where they can be read.

Why write a eulogy at all? Who cares? The guys dead right? Isn’t that how the argument goes? When you tell someone that their mother didn’t abort them and they should be thankful? The reply is “if she had aborted me, I wouldn’t know so it wouldn’t matter!

I mean, it’s not like his last words were supposed to comfort his living left behind loved ones!

Why have any words at all? Just dump the guy. Why a headstone? Why a burial? Sheesh, and HE claims to be the rational one…

I can’t resist inserting Mark Shea’s always comment on the death of an atheist, “…and he became a theist”.

Is there a small Mark Shea cult around here or what? Who is that guy? All I know is that his understanding of free will is rather fuzzy.
