Gadfly’s in the face of reason.  I just can’t worm up to the idea.

I hope that, having confessed the One True Faith, you are not thinking about breaking off insects.

What a buzz you’re creating with these puns.  Earwigging me out, though with the buggy ones.  Fleas stop!

(I’ve also discovered that Firefox likes your pictures more than Safari.  Wonder why that is…)

But still, thrips can’t go on forever.

Oh, that should have been Thrips can’t go on forever.

But still, thrips can’t go on forever.

Oh, I think it could drone on for a while. As for RT’s pictures, be glad he’s not using his own drawings. His artwork is witty, to be sure, but he really drosophila.

Sorry, it’s not clever, none of them are.  It’s obscurantist, and disingenuous, since I don’t have humor in that area.  You’re wrong, no matter how punningly you put it.

If loving God is wrong, I don’t wanna be blight.

Clearly, whatever word you describe these puns, it would be antonymous with humor.
