I looked up the links to old debates and found nothing interesting. One of the least interesting things is using, as one poster did, a single quote by a famous person with no commentary. Is that supposed to mean something?

In reply to Voltaire, one could post, “I reverse the phrase of Voltaire, and say that if God would have existed, it would be necessary to abolish Him” ~ Mikhail Bakunin (On God and the State)

I am atheist, I smoke, have promiscuous unprotected sex, eat 3 hamburgers every day and try to hit homeless people on my way to work.

    I’m 46-years-old and I still haven’t had a heart attack.

Thank goodness I didn’t try to help people, or God would have struck me dead.
